 Instructions: 

 1. Prepare the Noodles: 

    Cook the chow mein noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.

    In a bowl, combine the sliced chicken with 1 tablespoon of soy sauce and a pinch of pepper. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.

Return the cooked chicken to the pan with the vegetables. 

  Add the cooked noodles, remaining soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce (if using), and sesame oil. 

    Toss everything together until well combined and heated through. Season with salt and pepper to taste. 

 6. Garnish and Serve: 

   Garnish with chopped spring onions and sesame seeds if desired.
