Instructions: 

 1. Cook the Fusilli: 

  Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the fusilli pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside. 

 2. Prepare the Sauce: 

    In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes. 

   Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1 minute, until fragrant. 

    Add the diced bell pepper and sliced zucchini. Cook for 5-7 minutes until they start to soften. 

   Stir in the cherry tomatoes and cook for another 3 minutes until they begin to break down. 

   Pour in the marinara sauce and add the dried oregano, basil, salt, and black pepper. Stir to combine and let it simmer for 5 minutes. 

 3. Combine Pasta and Sauce: 

   Add the cooked fusilli to the skillet with the sauce. Toss to coat the pasta evenly with the sauce and vegetables. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through. 

 4. Serve: 

   Serve the fusilli hot, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese and fresh basil leaves if desired.
